Tesla partners with GM

Just weeks after Tesla signed a groundbreaking charging network deal with Ford, a similar arrangement has been struck with General Motors (GM). GM has agreed to adapt their cars to the Tesla charging stations, allowing GM vehicles to use the network to fill up their batteries.

Those three companies make up 70% of the EVs sold in the US. I think it is safe to say that Tesla has set the standard for charging technologies and now the competition has no choice but to become clients. Some analysts estimate these deals could add over $3 billion in revenue for Tesla over the next few years.

Ford and GM clients will be paying Tesla charging fees so that Tesla can use that money to make better cars. That's quite amusing.
