New Tesla Model Y

Tesla is launching a more affordable version of the Model Y, complete with increased battery capacity. The new battery cells will be twice the size of the current batteries; however, it will hold five times the capacity. Talk about a bump in output!

The new Model Y, as a result, will see its range climb to 450 km on a single charge and reach 0-100km in just five seconds. That's supercar territory! New features will include a magnetic centre console, a parcel shelf, and other fresh features. The Standard Range All-Wheel-Drive option will start at $59 990, which is $3 000 less than the current Long Range All-Wheel-Drive.

Lastly, there's been progress in the sportier Tesla Roadster, Tesla is finally taking $50 000 deposits for the car. Unlike most of Tesla's models, this luxury sports car will start at $200 000 and features 1 000 km of range and a 1.9 second 0-100 km time. This will roll out of Tesla gigafactories much later.
