Google Adds Trips

So many trips are booked using Google. That is why Booking.com pay Google millions to be top of the search results. Booking has become big enough that users now go straight to their website. This is of course good for Booking and bad for Google. That is why Google has created a landing page exclusively for booking trips. And guess what, it is called Trips.

The unified site allows you to find flights, hotels, travel guides and packages. The app also integrates with Google maps so when you open up the maps app, it will show you where your hotel is. They are still outsourcing the facilitation of the booking through other sites like Booking.com. They are just aggregating all the details of your trip under one page and keeping themselves relevant.
